In order to process a booking, we must ask for your name, your email address, your residential address, and your credit card number together with the expiration date. If you send us your data in an e-mail or subscribe to the newsletter, it is stored by us. In addition, we use your e-mail address only for the purpose of direct advertising for similar offers, unless you have already objected to it previously. Personal data which is processed by us as part of a general contact request by e-mail or contact form, is stored only as long as necessary for the respective correspondence.

Personal data requested for a room booking with us, is stored only as long as this is necessary for the contract and any subsequent contract-related correspondence, or in case of commercial and / or tax-relevant documents containing personal data, as long as the legal terms of Commercial and Tax regulation code requires as preservation of these documents.

We use cookies for optimizing our website and your online experience. “Permanent cookies” recognize that your PC has had a connection to a web site, while "session cookies" store recently viewed sites. "Session cookies" are deleted after the end of the session. Through the use of cookies in the form chosen by us, you will not be negatively impacted in any form. 7. Video surveillance

Our house is video-monitored. This is in place for documentation and prevention of criminal acts (such as theft, vandalism, sabotage). Monitored areas are tunnels, entrance to our parking area and public areas of the hotel. The legal basis is a justified interest by Monaco & Freunde GmbH & Co KG. The stored data is automatically overwritten after 72 hours.

8. Online Photographs

Sometimes we take photographs during our own internal events. These photographs might be used on our social media channels. You can request the removal of an image at any time by writing to datenschutz@michelbergerhotel.com.

9. Privacy Policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Order processing

We have entered into a contract data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

10. Privacy Policy for the use of Mailchimp

As an additional service we offer you our newsletter. We use the list provider MailChimp to send our newsletter. MailChimp refers to The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318 ("Rocket"). Rocket has signed the so-called "Safe Harbor Agreement" on July 22, 2008, which is a privacy agreement between the European Union and the United States.

The data stored during registration will be transmitted to Rocket and stored by Rocket. The data entered during registration will not be transmitted to other third parties. 15. Data protection in job applications and in the application process

The controller collects and processes personal data of applicants for the purpose of processing the application process. The processing can also be done electronically.
